The winter version of the renowned Skogsö Jacket!Skogsö Padded Jacket by Fjällräven is a stylish casual jacket and is suitable for hikes in winter as well.With an attached hood, athletic cut and four technical, covered pockets the Skogsö is definitely one of the more youthful jackets in the Swedish outfitter’s range.A light fabric blend has been used for the torso area while the shoulders and hood are made of the classic G-1000-fabric blend with waxing. A good snow-repellent effect as well as protection against cold wind are obviously provided. The jacket can be given a follow-up treatment with wax any time or another impregnation.It is lined with G-Loft, especially produced for Fjällräven. When the synthetic hollow fibre gets compressed it can always puff back to its original state and it furthermore creates insulation by binding air. As an alternative to down it may be heavier, but it offers much better insulation in wet and cold weather (no clumps). As with the exterior material, there are two different strengths of material.All the small components on the pockets, zipper and hood of the Skogsö Padded can easily be operated with gloves as well.
